The Lebanon Parks and Recreation Department offers a variety of parks and recreational activities for the community. There are a total of seven parks that are maintained by our staff.  The Parks Department provides many programs for children and adults ranging from swim lessons and adult water aerobics to Christmas at the Cabin.

Eli Lilly Performs Day of Service

On Thursday, September 28th, more than 100 members of Eli Lilly & Company performed a significant amount of work throughout the Lebanon area. Crews were stationed throughout Memorial Park, Abner Longley Park, the city’s arboretum, as well as in the downtown area.

Road Updates Planned Near Lebanon Lilly Site

Several road improvement projects near the future Eli Lilly and Company campus are planned by the IEDC/Pure Development to provide safer and more efficient access to area homeowners and personnel working on the project. The contractors performing this work will ensure access to homeowners.

Boone County Named Indiana Community of the Year

Nothing, it seems, can stop the red-hot momentum of the second-fastest growing county in the state. Situated just north of Indianapolis, Boone County is attracting businesses of all sizes and sectors, as well as citizens with its increasing list of job opportunities and quality of life amenities. In recognition, the Indiana Chamber of Commerce is honoring Boone County as its 2023 NextEra Energy Resources Community of the Year.
