The Lebanon Parks and Recreation Department offers a variety of parks and recreational activities for the community. There are a total of seven parks that are maintained by our staff. The Parks Department provides many programs for children and adults ranging from swim lessons and adult water aerobics to Christmas at the Cabin.

Stone Eater Bike Park – February Update
“We are going to deliver a project this year,” finished Krulik. “But there are levels to this project for it to be expanded, and just get better and better, and that’s where we are looking for partners. Please help us build the Stone Eater that we all want. We are going to take care of that first phase, but we would really like to see partners help us get to the next level on this park.”

INDOT Holds Interchange Public Information Meeting
On Thursday, December 16th, the Indiana Department of Transportation held its Public Information Meeting concerning potential locations for a new interchange along I-65, near US 52. A video shown to attendees at Lebanon High School outlined each option.

City Adds TextMyGov Service
In an effort to keep the public informed, The City of Lebanon is offering the informational texting service TextMyGov to citizens. This free service will be used to communicate to those who choose to opt-in, to get the latest information on: Citywide Alerts, Functions, Events, Parks & Recreation Alerts, and City Project Notifications.

INDOT Shares Potential I-65 Interchange Locations
The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) and Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) intend to proceed with the I-65 and US 52 Interchange Improvement Project in Boone County, Indiana. The proposed undertaking is located at the I-65/US 52 Interchange in Lebanon, Boone County, Indiana.
