The Path

of Totality //

Only 43 million people — 0.5% of the world’s population — live in what is known as the path of totality, meaning they will experience this total solar eclipse. There’s no comparison between a partial solar eclipse and total solar eclipse.

People who have experienced the latter often say it is a deeply moving event that binds the observer to the Cosmos.

Want to get your hands on some Lebanon Eclipse “GetMoonedInBoone” merchandise? Good! Here’s the link for you to click, so you can add some items to your cart, and commemorate the event on April 8th!

Eclipse Experiences //

Witnessing a total eclipse can have a profound effect on people. Here are just a few reactions from some who have seen a total eclipse firsthand.

“The annular eclipse is cool, but it’s nowhere near as cool as the total eclipse”

Dr. Angela Speck, Astronomer

“This whole feeling, this experience that you went through, touches you on a deep down on a soul level.”

Bill Wheaton, Attended Eclipse in Hopkinsville (2017)

“I’ve seen other eclipses but never like this one. I just couldn’t miss it. For me it’s something supreme.”
