Story Booth!
We want you to share your story at the Lebanon Story Booth. Thanks to a grant from the Indiana Arts Commission, The Lebanon Story Booth provides a unique way to connect Lebanon residents, throughout the entire community!
A City of Lebanon team took part in Creative Convergence, a partnership between the IAC and the Indiana Communities Institute at Ball State University’s Miller College of Business.
As part of the Creative Convergence the City of Lebanon team received:
- A free two-day in-person workshop
- A $1,000 stipend to cover workshop travel & accommodations
- A post-workshop project grant for an eligible arts + community project
- Ongoing coaching from Indiana Arts Commission/Indiana Communities Institute
How the
booth Works
The Lebanon Story Booth has been fitted with an MP3 recorder that looks like a retro telephone. When the booth visitor picks up the receiver, they are asked to share their opinions based on a prompted question.
The questions rotate and comments are saved and shared.
Story Booth Unveiling
The Lebanon Story Booth was officially unveiled to the public at the June 24th Lebanon City Market. Visitors were encouraged to share their respective stories, while enjoying Story Booth Giveaways.
Introducing “Telly!”
We would like to thank all of those who cast their online votes to help us name the Story Booth. Our winner, by a wide margin, was “Telly!”
