The community is invited to join in the fourth annual Megan Hammerle Memorial 5K Run/Walk. It will be held on Saturday, May 12th, beginning and ending at the Lebanon High School football field. Net proceeds will benefit the Lebanon High School band and cross country/track programs.
“We are excited to announce our fourth annual 5K in Megan’s memory,” said Lian Ottinger. “The last three events have been a huge success and we look forward to seeing everyone again on May 12. We couldn’t do it without the overwhelming support from our sponsors, participants and volunteers.” Since 2015, $26,000 has been raised to benefit the scholarship named in Megan’s memory and the Lebanon High School band and athletic departments.”
“This spring a new record board for the Cross Country and Track teams will be unveiled at the Lebanon High School track. This was made possible by last year’s donation from the 5K,” shared Shelley West, LHS track and cross country coach. “We are so excited to be featuring our athlete’s school records in this way.”
