Have you ever passed by the Lebanon Police Station and wondered what goes on in there? Well, here is your chance to come see!
On Friday, January 12th from 6:00pm to 8:30pm, the Lebanon Police Department will be having their annual Station Open House at 201 East Main Street. We will open the doors and invite the community to come tour our facility. Each section of the station will have officers on hand to speak and answer questions. We will have vehicles and equipment on display in the heated bays.
There will be a K9 demo. It’s a great opportunity to get your child’s picture taken sitting behind the wheel of a police car, or wearing a SWAT vest! Even the Chief’s office will be open if you want to sit in his chair!
At 7:30pm, the public is invited to our training room for two special events. First, our own Mayor Matt Gentry will be swearing in LPD’s newest member…Police K9 Anya! Second, we will be promoting Ofc. Bryan Spencer to his new position of Detective with the issuing of his Detective badge.
So please come for a visit, meet Patrol Officers, Detectives, and CSI, and join us in celebration of our new members.
We look forward to meeting you!
