Fourth Annual Star Spangled Pedal Parade
June 30, 2018 @ 2:30 pmFree
You are invited to participate in the fourth annual “Star Spangled Pedal Parade” sponsored by The City of Lebanon through the Active Living Initiative. This event is free for all eligible participants. Any child up to age 12 may take part in the parade and for those children that require adult supervision, parents may accompany them. NO PETS please.
In order to be eligible, this entry form/waiver must be completed and returned via mail, e-mail or hand-delivery on or before June 11, 2018 to: City of Lebanon Planning & Zoning Dept., 401 S. Meridian St., Lebanon, IN 46052, firstname.lastname@example.org . The parade will take place on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at approximately 2:30pm at the Lebanon Memorial Park. All participants are asked to decorate their bike in patriotic colors and will be judged by our panel of “celebrity” judges.
Special awards will be given to a single individual from age brackets of: 0-4yrs, 5-8yrs and 9-12yrs for having the “most patriotic” decorated bicycle. In addition, all child participants ONLY will be awarded a free t-shirt and participation medal.
It is strongly recommended that ANY cyclist wear appropriate gear/helmet that meets with the Consumer Product Safety Commission standards.
Check-in will be at the Shelter area closest to the tennis courts and we recommend arriving at least 10 minutes prior in order to avoid standing in line. We hope you will plan to join us for a day of fun, celebration and in promoting awareness of the City of Lebanon’s Bicycle & Pedestrian pathway.
