Board of Zoning Appeals Meeting

The Board of Zoning Appeals takes care of the; permitting, planning, and zoning needs of the Lebanon community. 
 
The Board of Zoning Appeals meeting first Monday of every month, unless that day falls on a holiday; if that is the case, meetings are held the following Tuesday. Any correspondence to the Board should be directed through the Planning Department.

2. OLD BUSINESS (* Indicates Public Hearing)

    • a. APPLICANT WAS CONTINUED FROM THE MARCH 4, 2024 MEETING. Docket #24-5*;
      Powerflex (Michael Landler) requesting Conditional Use approval for the installation of a 3.3 MW
      DC/2.5 MW AC ground-mounted photovoltaic (PV) solar facility on the property located to the west
      and south of the existing US Cold Storage facility. The PV system is intended to provide power for
      the facility load, offsetting existing energy usage. The property is located at 415 S. Mt. Zion Road.
      The property is Zoned “LI” Light Industrial.

3. NEW BUSINESS (* Indicates Public Hearing)

    • a. Docket 24-13*; Powerflex (Michael Landler) requesting Development Standards Variance approval
      for the installation of a 3.3 MW DC/2.5 MW AC ground-mounted photovoltaic (PV) solar facility on
      the property located to the west and south of the existing US Cold Storage facility. The Variance
      request would allow an alternative landscape buffer planting standard than required by the UDO.
      The property is located at 415 S. Mt. Zion Road. The property is Zoned “LI” Light Industrial.

      • i. UDO Section 7.21.H.3.A.1- Landscaping- Screening
    • b. Docket 24-15*; Bel Canto Lebanon requesting Development Standard Variance for an entry sign to
      be located at 901 Kelly Green Lane at the Hickory Cottages Multi Family complex. The property is
      Zoned “PUD” Planned Unit Development.
    • i. UDO Section 6.4.H.19- Signage
