October 1st was a special afternoon at Lebanon Community Schools!
An exciting announcement was made as Meta presented a generous $300,000 gift to support the Preschool Access Fund. This investment will help expand access to preschool, reduce tuition costs, and make quality early childhood education more affordable for families throughout our community.
Lebanon Community School Superintendent John Milleman shared that the impact of an investment like this reaches far beyond the preschool years. Providing children with greater access to early learning helps give them a strong foundation as they enter kindergarten and begin their educational journey. At the same time, helping make preschool more affordable can provide meaningful support for working families right here in our community.
Meta also donated school supplies to help support students and classrooms throughout Lebanon Community Schools. These contributions will provide teachers and students with additional resources while demonstrating the importance of strong community partnerships.
The school corporation staff shared how grateful they are to see businesses investing in their schools, students, and the future of Lebanon. They added that partnerships like this remind them what can happen when local organizations come together with a shared commitment to helping children and families succeed.
