LEBANON, Ind. (WISH) — D-A Lubricant Co. will expand its operations with a new 115,000-square-foot facility, the city government of Lebanon and the Boone County Economic Development Corp. announced Monday in a news release issued Monday night.

The $17 million project will allow the manufacturer to increase domestic production and use automated systems for processing, blending and packaging. The company, at 801 Edwards Drive, produces lubricants, greases, and coolants for sectors including automotive, mining, and agriculture.

The company founded in Indianapolis in 1919 consolidated its manufacturing and distribution, laboratory and headquarters in Lebanon in 2011.

The expansion includes $10 million for the building and $7 million for new equipment.
