The City’s golf cart permitting has been finalized. All inspections must be scheduled in advance through this website.
All inspections will occur at the Lebanon Police Department.
Before scheduling your inspection, please ensure your golf cart has 4 wheels, factory installed seating for no more than 6 passengers, rear view mirror, 14″x16″ slow moving vehicle emblem affixed to the rear of the cart, a valid driver’s license for the registrant, and proof of financial responsibility (insurance card) for the golf cart as these are the items the officer will inspect.
If the cart is intended for operation after dark (now allowed by the ordinance for properly equipped carts), officers will also inspect for 2 working headlights, taillights, brake lights and turn signals.
This equipment is not necessary to register a golf cart. It is just required for operation after dark.
