[Courtesy: The Lebanon Reporter] The game of football has provided 2014 Lebanon graduate Isaac Harker a lot of opportunities.
But he never imagined the opportunity the game recently gave him, when Hollywood came calling.
Harker got to be a stunt double for actor Glen Powell in Hulu’s new series “Chad Powers,” a show depicting a former college quarterback who disguises himself to walk onto a struggling football team to revive his career.
Harker, an American Football League player, said he was found after he played in ArenaBowl XXXIII last fall, leading the Billings Outlaws to the title and earning MVP honors.
The game was broadcast by CBS Sports, and former Arena League legend and NFL coach Pat O’Hara, was watching the game.
When O’Hara saw Harker, he knew he could be a perfect fit for the show.
“I had gotten home after the season and got a call from Pat O’Hara, and I knew who he was because he is an Arena Football legend and was a coordinator with the Tennessee Titans,” Harker said. “He said he had a weird question for me and that he was in L.A. in with Glen Powell and they had been struggling to find a stunt double with his build for the show and asked if I would be interested.”
