The Lebanon Police Department is making a few changes within the department, keeping with the tradition of LPD, but also turning a new page throughout the department. Residents and visitors will likely notice officers wearing a different uniform color. A new patch will also be visible on the shoulders of personnel.

“We have been looking to update our patch for some time, said Police Chief Chad Morgan. “While we felt an update was needed, we wanted to also honor the rich tradition of the Lebanon Police Department. I feel as though this new look honors our past, but will also serve us well for many years to come.”
Along with the updates to the patch, uniform updates have also been made. The department will wear black uniforms instead of navy blue. This move better aligns with the new patch, and was a recommendation by a number of officers.
Updated staff pictures of the officers are also planned. Additionally, the look of the new patches will also be reflected on future patrol vehicles.
