The fast-growing Michigan-based chain Savvy Sliders opened its first Hoosier store in Lebanon at 2004 N. Lebanon St. on Aug. 29th.
What are Savvy Sliders?
The place serves sliders on brioche buns. These are bigger than those most are used to at chain restaurants. The original slider includes two ounces of Angus beef; never frozen and cooked to order.
The popular Steakhouse Rib-eye slider has three ounces of rib-eye, sautéed mushrooms, provolone, fried onions and A1 steak sauce.Other burger options include English cod, crispy fried chicken, and vegetarian falafel.
Savvy Sliders is also known for its two-ounce chicken fingers, hand-breaded and cooked to order and served with proprietary sauces, some made in-house.
Shakes are made with frozen custard and guests can add toppings such as strawberry shortcake, banana pudding and Reese’s Pieces bits.
