A large tree fell directly onto a swing set!

A pair of severe storms blew through Lebanon in early July, leaving behind a fair amount of damage. The first took place just before the city’s popular annual July 4th parade. The second round of wicked weather took place a few weeks later.

After the storms hit, City of Lebanon departments showcased their work ethic and resiliency to work together to pick up the pieces. After strong winds and rain brought down several trees at Memorial Park, the Lebanon Fire Department utilized its ladder truck and fire fighters to help speed up the clean up process.

The Parks and Street Departments remained diligent during the month of July, continuing to remove debris left behind after the storms.
