[Courtesy: The Lebanon Reporter] Lebanon racing legend Mel Kenyon is celebrating a milestone on April 15th.

The Lebanon resident and International Motorsports Hall of Famer is turning 90 this year.

Kenyon had an illustrious racing career, winning seven USAC National Midget championships and finishing runner-up eight times.

For his career, 111 feature wins in USAC National midget races, 131 seconds, 107 thirds, 81 fourths, and 69 fifths.

He raced in the Indianapolis 500 eight times, collecting four top-5 finishes, including a third-place finish in 1968. That year his sponsored by the city of Lebanon, where Kenyon has lived since the 1960s.
