Savor Lebanon returns to Lebanon for a seventh year May 6 in downtown Lebanon.
The open-air festival featuring craft beer, wine and spirits takes place from 2-6 p.m. around the downtown Lebanon square.
The event for those aged 21 and older features unlimited samples from more than 25 craft breweries, wineries and distilleries from throughout the state. Salty, savory, and sweet foods scents waft over the crowd as food trucks and local restaurants serve their best festival dishes, such as macaroni and cheese, giant pretzels, and more.
Bands will play on three stages this year at the festival sponsored by The Heart of Lebanon and the City of Lebanon. The Doo! Band is the headliner for numerous bands that will play on three music stages. The high-energy dance band plays tunes from the disco era, Motown, classic rock, current hits, and more.
Last year’s event was the largest in Savor Lebanon’s history, drawing more than 800 people downtown for an afternoon of brews and bands. The event was held indoors and during winter for its first four years but moved outdoors and in the springtime during the COVID-19 pandemic. That move drew a larger crowd and more breweries and distilleries.
“It was just a great time,” founder of Indiana on Tap Justin Knepp said. “The vendors were incredibly happy with the event and that it had good turnout. They commented to us on what a great host the City of Lebanon was, which is huge because the goal of this event is to create a community-centered event that the community can look forward to every year and get excited about.”
