A pair of citywide road projects have been awarded by the Federal Highway Administration, and are designed to further improve the City’s infrastructure as Lebanon continues to grow.

The first road planned project is on Grant Street, with work slated to begin in 2026. $2,922,240 has been awarded by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). Among the project’s features will be the realignment of the intersection of Grant Street and Indianapolis Avenue.

The second project is set for 2027, and addresses roadway needs on Witt Road. $2,982,840 has been awarded by the FHWA for this project. A significant component of this road project will be the addition of a roundabout at the Witt Road/Lafayette Avenue intersection.

Both projects will be built in phases, with each taking roughly two years to complete.
