Lebanon High School students that pursue college level courses will receive rigorous instruction involving independent and self-directed learning, research, academic writing, debate and presentation. These rigorous courses are taught as college classes and are listed in the Course Description Guide as AP, Pre-AP, Honors, or Dual Credit. Contact us at
[email protected] and we’ll send to you a recent LHS Course Description Guide.
These challenging pathways will require students to spend significant time outside of the classroom studying, reading, and writing. Students who pursue these rigorous courses are planning to earn college credit in high school, attend a four year college with increased admission standards, and/or pursue competitive academic programs after high school.

From Superintendent Dr. Jon Milleman:
“Our Lebanon High School teachers and staff work every day to prepare our students for a post-secondary education and the 21st century workforce. LHS accomplishes this by providing students with rigorous and high-quality educational opportunities that include 14 Advanced Placement Courses, 40 CTE courses, and 36 Dual Credit and College Credit Courses. We know that not every student wishes to pursue a post-secondary education, this is why we offer students a Work-Based Learning experience and partner with over 100 local businesses and organizations to provide students the opportunity to develop skill sets that will prepare them for workforce immediately after graduation.
We also provide students learning environments and community spaces that are safe, state-of-the-art, and designed to support student success.”
