Did you know that Lebanon had its own RC Park? The RC Park is located within Abner Longley Park, and it has become quite the attraction. Drawing in enthusiasts from all over the state, and beyond, the Lebanon RC Park provides something for all ages.

“They’ll make some older looking cars,” said 10-year-old Bryson Taylor. “They’ll make buggies. They’ll make Jeeps, the Jeeps with truck beds. Sometimes they’ll even make trucks. There are large and small ones.”

Ken Wehnert and members of his “Hill Jacks RC Club” came down from Fort Wayne to check out the park.

“I bought my first RC car in 1978, so that’s a long time,” said Wehnert. “This is my physical therapy,” added Wehnert. “I had heart disease in 2015, and given three months to live, and I’m here. Playing with these toy cars gets me out and about. It gets me out with my friends, and I get to meet new people. I get to be outside. I built our own course up in Fort Wayne. So, that labor motivated me to stay off the couch and survive.”
