After completing its review of potential projects pertaining to the Community Crossings Matching Grant Fund Program, the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) has preliminarily awarded $839,577.75 to The City of Lebanon. The award of the Community Crossings Matching Grant was based upon city estimates from project applications submitted by City of Lebanon personnel.
The Community Crossings Matching Grand Funds, which are administered by INDOT, will be used for funding up to 50 percent of the construction of the project or the purchase of materials. These grant dollars will enable the City of Lebanon to help build and improve the state’s infrastructure.

As part of INDOT’s award letter, INDOT stated: “The state of Indiana looks forward to partnering with all Hoosier communities, both urban and rural, to invest in road and bridge infrastructure projects. Improvement to local roads and bridges will bring about economic development, create jobs, and strengthen local transportation networks for all of Indiana.”
