A four-story mixed-use building could be under construction as early as the spring of 2021, after getting the go-ahead from the Lebanon Plan Commission. The Brakeman Building, part of Forza Development’s “Shift” project, is set to include restaurants, retail, and multi-family residential uses. The building, along with parking, will be built on the west side of State Road 39/Lebanon Street, atop the former Estes(Kincaid) auto dealership parking lot, as well as the current New Life Recovery Home.

As part of the Shift project, the east side of the roadway will undergo some drastic changes as well. The current building, including the former vehicle showroom, auto body shop, and large red awning will be cleared as early as the fall of 2020. In the short-term, the area will be turned into a parking lot. Eventually a second building will be added to that portion of the site.
