Lebanon Opens New Dog Park

(Courtesy: Lebanon Reporter) Lebanon Mayor Matt Gentry was particularly happy to open the dog park because Olive, the family corgi, was raised on dog parks in Indianapolis. Now, Olive can run free, without a leash, at the new Lebanon dog park which opened Monday on the former property of the Boone County Conservation Club.

Covering about three quarters of an acre, the dog park is completely fenced in, allowing pooches to run free and untethered. There are two areas, one for large dogs and one for small and medium dogs. There are two gates accessible with a key fob, or through a smart phone app. There is an entrance area past the first gate that has a water fountain for humans and dogs.
